Greg Caudill, ACI, VCHI
As President and Chief Inspector of Home Review Inspection Services, I have personally performed over 8,000 home inspections in 19 years. The company, as a whole, has performed over 11,000 home inspections. Our goal has always been to provide a superior home inspection and to make sure every client is completely satisfied with our services. I am very proud of the service Home Review provides to our clients and we look forward to helping you as well!
I have been an ASHI Certified Inspector (ACI) since 1995 and Virginia Certified Home Inspector (VCHI) since 2005. I am Radon Certified since 1992, to perform radon gas testing and and have an Analytical laboratory designation by NEHA (National Environmental Health Association).
I have extensive experience as a building contractor in the Northern VA area; constructing decks, additions and general remodeling projects. I enjoy educating our clients by giving suggestions, tips and insight about remodeling, renovations, horticulture and other topics they may bring up during an inspection.
Over the past 17 years, I have trained and mentored many home inspectors who work in our local area and throughout the United States. I am very proud of the many officer positions I have held within ASHI National (American Society of Home Inspectors) as well as the officer positions I have held within our local Northern Virginia ASHI chapter.
I have varying degrees of expertise, and am a conscientious professional with good communication skills. I proudly inspect to the Standards of Practice of the American Society of Home Inspectors® in accordance with their strict Code of Ethics. As you will see below, I have attended hundreds of hours of continuing education which goes well beyond the requirement of retaining my ASHI member status. The following is a brief listing of my involvement in the Home Inspection Industry. ("Chapter" refers to the NOVA ASHI Chapter)

Brian Henley, ACI, VCHI
Brian is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering. Brian is in his third year of performing home inspections with hundreds already under his belt. He graduated from the Master Inspection Course offered by The American Home Inspectors Training Institute (AHIT) and has taken and passed the National Home Inspectors Examination. In addition, he is a National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) certified Radon Measurement Provider and is undergoing courses to become a certified Radon Mitigator. Brian is an ASHI Certified Member (ACI) of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) and regularly attends local chapter meetings and conferences.
Brian has worked hand-in-hand with Greg Caudill to complete a rigorous four-month field training program. Brian’s stewardship with Greg has included all age groups of properties and training on countless types of systems and structures. The final phase of Brian’s training with Greg was a complete hands-on experience where he handled the entire inspection, report writing and client communications.
Prior to becoming a professional Home Inspector, his engineering degree offered Brian years of experience as a field engineer and consultant for the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). Brian has also worked as a design engineer for a transportation company in Fairfax where he worked on several new bridges for the Springfield Interchange Project.
Greg doesn’t hand the baton off easily! Brian has been required to prove himself on several levels of competency in order to work with our Home Review clients independently. Brian has demonstrated his knowledge base, proficient reasoning and judgment as well as effective communication skills - and we are proud to have him on board with Home Review!
